Vice President RNS Robin Gawlik, RN is an infusion nurse with Arthritis and Rheumatology Associates of Palm Beach. This 7 physician practice specializes in Rheumatology. Robin is responsible for patient education as well as the infusion of biologics to patients with diagnoses of RA, Crohn’s, Ankylosing Spondylitis, psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis and osteoporosis. Robin has written the infusion protocols and patient handouts used in her practice and is currently involved in the development of a patient support group for the practice. Before making the change to Rheumatology, Robin was a certified oncology nurse at Jupiter Hospital in Jupiter, Florida where she worked in the hospital and the ambulatory care setting in both chemo and radiation. Currently, Robin is a national speaker for nurse education and continues to serve on multiple nursing advisory boards. |
